Details of the Job/Internship
Sprinto is hiring for the position of Senior Associate - Legal with 2-4 years of experience to join their office remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
AI-Enabled Legal Operations
- Deploy generative-AI and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (e.g., GPT-based review platforms, automated clause libraries) to improve contract turnaround and consistency.
- Continuously refine AI prompts, templates, and workflows; track and report cycle-time metrics to leadership.
Contract Management & Negotiation
- Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS and enterprise contracts including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, BAAs, and partner/reseller agreements.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders to close deals efficiently and reduce friction.
Privacy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with global data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and support implementation of internal data security controls.
- Coordinate Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and third-party vendor risk assessments.
Risk Advisory
- Identify legal risks in product development and GTM strategies; propose practical, business-aligned solutions.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, regulatory requirements, and policy implications.
Legal Infrastructure & Governance
- Maintain clause libraries, negotiation playbooks, and contract templates.
- Optimize legal processes and documentation to support global scalability and time zone coverage.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Revenue Operations teams on product compliance, data mapping, and customer obligations.
- Support initiatives involving open-source use, IP strategy, and pre-litigation matters.
Eligibility
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience focused on SaaS, technology licensing, or enterprise contracting.
- Demonstrated expertise using AI-based legal tools (e.g., GPT contract reviewers, automated redlining, CLM platforms) to accelerate legal workflows.
- Strong knowledge of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and information security standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to simplify complex legal terms for non-legal teams.
- Experience working with international teams and managing priorities across time zones.
- Business-oriented mindset with a solution-driven approach.
- Bonus: Familiarity with AI governance, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar certifications.
