Details of the Job/Internship
WeWork India is hiring a Senior Associate, Legal with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate CapEx and project-related agreements, including construction, fit-out, and vendor contracts.
- Provide legal and commercial support to procurement, real estate, engineering, and finance teams.
- Manage contracting processes, including standard templates, work orders, and process improvements.
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks associated with vendor engagements and transactions.
- Coordinate with external consultants and counsel to address specific legal matters.
- Support general governance, compliance, and dispute resolution, including drafting responses to legal notices.
- Collaborate with Key Accounts and cross-functional teams to align operational and legal practices.
Eligibility
- Law degree from an accredited university.
- 2–3 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) at a major multinational company or leading law firm.
- Significant experience in commercial contracting and strong academic credentials.
- Proficiency in using compliance monitoring tools and managing complex legal documentation.
- Excellent English communication and drafting skills, with a willingness to travel for business.
