Details of the Job/Internship
Hammurabi & Solomon Partners is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation with experience of 4–7 years to join their office in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently handle litigation matters before courts and tribunals, including District Courts and High Courts.
- Draft, review, and vet pleadings, written submissions, affidavits, applications, and legal notices.
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
- Brief and coordinate with Senior Counsels and manage court appearances.
- Represent clients in hearings, arguments, and procedural matters.
- Manage client relationships and provide timely case updates.
- Ensure compliance with procedural requirements and timelines.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates and interns.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. (preferred).
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- 4–7 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Prior experience in handling matters before High Courts and trial courts is essential.
- Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and professional integrity.
- Team management and mentoring capabilities.
