Details of the Job/Internship
EZY LAWS is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join its office in BKC, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and filing company petitions, oppression and mismanagement applications, and merger/demerger schemes.
- Representing clients in corporate disputes, shareholder disputes, and company law violations.
- Handling Section 7, 9, and 10 petitions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
- Appearing before NCLT for hearings, arguments, and procedural compliances.
- Coordinating with Insolvency Professionals, Resolution Professionals, liquidators, Committee of Creditors, and corporate debtors.
- Handling writ petitions related to corporate and commercial issues.
- Appealing NCLT and NCLAT orders before the High Court, where permitted.
- Managing commercial suits, arbitration petitions, and company appeals.
- Drafting petitions, applications, stay applications, and responses for High Court matters.
- Conducting legal research on case laws, precedents, and statutes to support litigation strategy.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with Company Secretary qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure.
- High standards of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
