Details of the Job/Internship

Primaa Legal Associates is hiring for the role of Senior Associate (Litigation).

Number of Vacancies: 4

This is a full-time on-site role for Senior Associate-Litigation, located in Lucknow. The Associate will be responsible for handling criminal and constitutional matters independently.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handling of Bail Applications related to various offences under different acts.
• Handling of Writs in different High Courts and Supreme Court and SLP in Supreme Court.
• Handling matters related to Service Tribunals, State Tribunals and NCLTs, R.E.R.A.
• Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, filing pleadings and motions, and representing clients in court. The Senior Associate-Litigation will also work with other associates of the firm to prepare for hearings, as well as assist in the research process, and in negotiations with opposing parties.
• The candidate shall make sure to finish the work independently given by the Managing Partner.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a reputed university, preference shall be given to LLM.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of litigation experience.
• Candidate shall have excellent command over native or regional language, i.e., Hindi and English.
• Previously involved and handled matters related to corporate scams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Prior experience in drafting and filing bail matters related to E.D. and C.B.I. and filing of writs and bails in different High Courts and Supreme Courts.
• Prior experience in Trial Procedure related to various offences under different acts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Able to handle a legal team of 4-6 members including interns.
• Core knowledge and command over the Indian legal system and court procedures, as well as local and national laws and regulations.

Salary/Stipend

The candidate will be paid on scale as per the industry standard and norms as well as based on their experience of work handled previously.
