Details of the Job/Internship

Saga Legal is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation with 4+ years of experience to join its Mumbai office. The role involves independent case handling, legal research and drafting, client representation before various forums, and collaboration with senior team members on complex litigation matters.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth legal research to support case strategy and drafting legal opinions.
• Interpreting statutes, case law, and regulations to develop effective legal arguments.
• Staying updated on relevant legal developments and notifications.
• Handling diverse litigation matters independently while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with clarity and accuracy.
• Representing clients before courts, tribunals, regulatory bodies, police authorities, and enforcement agencies.
• Maintaining regular and professional communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Assisting partners and principals in briefing senior advocates on complex matters.
• Reviewing work and mentoring junior associates to ensure quality and consistency.

Eligibility

• Enrolled and in good standing with the Bar Council of Delhi.
• 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in civil and criminal litigation.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to assist in handling complex legal matters.
• Excellent communication, client management, and negotiation skills.

Salary/Stipend
