Details of the Job/Internship
Singhania & Partners LLP is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation with experience of 4–8 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day litigation matters before District Courts, High Courts, and relevant tribunals in Bengaluru.
- Draft pleadings, applications, written submissions, affidavits, notices, and replies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, notes, and legal opinions.
- Assist in case strategy and support senior counsels during hearings and trials.
- Appear before courts for routine hearings, adjournments, mentions, and procedural matters.
- Coordinate with clients, counsels, court clerks, and registry offices.
- Track case progress, manage filings, and ensure compliance with procedural timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of case files and updates.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with a State Bar Council.
- 4–8 years of active litigation experience.
- Prior experience in civil and commercial litigation; exposure to criminal litigation will also be considered relevant.
- Familiarity with court procedures and filings in Bengaluru courts.
- Mandatory proficiency in Kannada (ability to read and speak).
