Details of the Job/Internship
Singhania & Partners LLP is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation with 4–8 years of experience to join its Bengaluru office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day litigation matters before District Courts, the High Court, and relevant tribunals in Bengaluru.
- Draft pleadings, applications, written submissions, affidavits, notices, and replies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, notes, and legal opinions.
- Assist in case strategy and support senior counsel during hearings and trials.
- Appear in court for routine hearings, mentions, adjournments, and procedural matters.
- Coordinate with clients, counsels, court clerks, and registry offices.
- Track case progress, manage filings, and ensure adherence to procedural timelines.
- Maintain accurate and updated case records and files.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- Enrollment with a State Bar Council.
- 4–8 years of active litigation experience.
- Experience in civil and commercial litigation; exposure to criminal litigation is relevant.
- Mandatory proficiency in Kannada, including reading and speaking.
- Familiarity with court procedures and filings in Bengaluru courts.
