Details of the Job/Internship
Singhania & Partners LLP is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation & Dispute Resolution with experience of 8–10 years to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day litigation matters and argue cases before District Courts, City Civil Courts, Commercial Courts, High Courts, and relevant tribunals.
- Draft pleadings, applications, written submissions, affidavits, notices, and replies independently.
- Review and finalize drafts prepared by associate advocates.
- Guide and train associates in drafting and court procedures.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, notes, and opinions.
- Assist in case strategy and support senior counsels during hearings and trials.
- Appear for routine hearings, adjournments, mentions, and procedural matters.
- Coordinate with clients, senior counsels, court clerks, registry offices, and local counsels.
- Track case progress, manage filings, and ensure compliance with procedural timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of case files and updates.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrolment with the Karnataka State Bar Council.
- 8–10 years of active litigation experience.
- Prior experience in handling civil and commercial litigation and arguing matters before courts and tribunals in Bangalore.
- Experience in leading evidence.
