Details of the Job/Internship
Kaizen Law is hiring a Senior Associate or Principal Associate with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Gurugram. The role is full-time and on-site, focused on transactional and corporate advisory work.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage corporate transactions including M&A, PE, VC, and JVs.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents.
- Conduct and supervise legal due diligence.
- Advise clients on corporate law, regulatory compliance, and structuring strategies.
- Collaborate directly with clients, funds, founders, and counterparties.
- Contribute to training, internal knowledge development, and thought leadership.
Eligibility
- LL.B from a leading law school in India.
- 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience at a reputed law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong background in corporate law, M&A, PE/VC, and commercial advisory.
- Proven ability to lead transactions independently.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior members and work in a dynamic environment.
- LLM or cross-border exposure will be an advantage.
