Details of the Job/Internship
Samvād Partners is hiring a Senior Associate / Principal Associate – M&A, Private Equity, and General Corporate with over 4 years of post-qualification experience to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on general corporate, M&A, and private equity matters.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including SPAs, SHAs, SSAs, and JVAs.
- Structure foreign investments and other transactions.
- Lead and manage legal due diligence processes.
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic legal advice.
- Mentor junior associates and support business development initiatives.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed institution; LL.M. or CS is an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, or general corporate law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Prior experience with reputed law firms or corporate legal departments preferred.
