Abhijeet Deshmukh is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate to join his legal practice

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal consultation and support on a wide range of issues including debt collection, regulatory compliance (AML/KYC laws), data privacy, and consumer protection.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements such as SAAS, service level agreements, joint venture documentation, and licensing deals.
• Represent clients in civil disputes across courts, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution forums, focusing on real estate, IPRs, competition/antitrust, and environmental laws.
• Conduct corporate due diligence and risk management activities to advise on potential legal impacts and mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal opinions in the context of Indian laws to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Work closely with client and external counsel to manage and resolve high-stake legal matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).
• Proficient in English and Marathi.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively articulating legal advice and representing the company in various legal proceedings.
