Details of the Job/Internship
Adept Global is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Associate with 5 to 6 years of experience to join them at their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Offer clear and concise legal advice that addresses the core issues at hand, demonstrating a deep understanding of the business context.
- Independently manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Prepare detailed opinions on complex issues related to securities laws and other related legal matters.
- Draft, review, and finalize corporate and commercial transaction documents with precision and attention to detail.
- Lead and manage investment/acquisition transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Mentor, develop, and manage a team of associates, guiding them through complex legal matters and ensuring their professional growth.
- Confidently liaise with and provide support, advice, and presentations to senior leadership and board members.
- Bring an understanding and experience of working in a multinational, culturally diverse environment.
Eligibility
- Minimum 5-6 years of PQE in a reputable large or medium-sized law firm.
- Strong knowledge of securities laws, general corporate and commercial laws, and relevant judicial pronouncements.
- Proven ability to independently manage clients and lead teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex legal matters to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in handling investment/acquisition transactions.
