Details of the Job/Internship
Ascendion is hiring an in-house counsel (Senior Associate level) with experience of 3–4 years to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including MSAs, SaaS, and DPAs.
- Support contract lifecycle management and develop legal playbooks and templates.
- Review and advise on employment contracts, HR policies, and POSH compliance.
- Support disciplinary actions, terminations, and employee disputes in coordination with external counsel.
- Advise on regulatory requirements and data protection for AI-led information technology businesses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel on global regulatory and labor matters.
Eligibility
- Graduate from a leading law school in India and licensed to practice law in India.
- 3–4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably with in-house exposure in technology.
- Strong drafting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without continuous supervision.
