Details of the Job/Internship

GP Law Chambers is hiring a Senior Associate with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their office in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse litigation portfolio encompassing Civil, Criminal, Commercial, Matrimonial, and IPR cases.
• Lead the drafting of complex legal documents, including pleadings, writ petitions, commercial contracts, and formal legal opinions.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and interpret intricate legal frameworks to support case strategies.
• Provide strategic advisory support on corporate and commercial matters to domestic and international clients.
• Prepare comprehensive briefs and coordinate closely with Senior Advocates for appearances in various courts and tribunals.
• Manage arbitration proceedings, including the drafting of statements of claim and rejoinders.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• PQE of 4–5 years with a proven track record before courts in Delhi NCR.
• Preference: Candidates with an educational background from National Law Universities (NLUs) or other top-tier law schools.
• Expertise in litigation, arbitration, and ADR processes.
• Strong skills in legal analysis and the interpretation of corporate and regulatory laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
• High ethical standards with a strict commitment to confidentiality and deadlines.
