Details of the Job/Internship
Hammurabi & Solomon Partners is hiring a Senior Associate (Litigation) with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle and oversee civil, commercial, criminal, corporate, TMT, startup, and IP litigation matters.
- Develop litigation strategies, draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
- Conduct legal research and ensure procedural compliance.
- Represent clients before courts, tribunals, and authorities; conduct cross-examinations and arguments.
- Advise clients on litigation risks, outcomes, and compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior associates and interns.
- Participate in business development and represent the firm at professional events.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized institution (LL.M. preferred).
- 4–5 years of litigation experience in a reputed law firm or chamber.
- Proficiency in Kannada and English (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of civil, criminal, IP, procedural, ADR, and corporate laws.
- Excellent advocacy, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Familiarity with legal research tools like Manupatra and SCC Online.
