Details of the Job/Internship
Inventus Law Technology Partners (ILTP) is hiring an Associate with 4–6 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or M&A to join their team. The role involves structuring and closing transactions, drafting and negotiating agreements, and providing commercially sound legal advice. The Associate will also mentor junior and mid-level lawyers in drafting, documentation, and client communication.
Role and Responsibilities
- Structure India-focused and international transactions, with emphasis on venture capital, private equity, and M&A.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize term sheets, investment agreements, and ancillary documentation.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level associates on entity formation, drafting, documentation, and client communication.
- Deliver high-quality and commercially practical legal advice by applying strong legal skills, global awareness, and a solid academic foundation.
Eligibility
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India (any state).
- Law degree from a reputed law school.
- 4–6 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or M&A, preferably in a law firm.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
