Details of the Job/Internship
Lexansh & Co. is hiring a Senior Associate with 3–4 years of experience to join their Corporate & Commercial team in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate and commercial legal matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Shareholders’ Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Investment Agreements, commercial contracts, and MOUs.
- Assist in mergers, acquisitions, investments, and restructuring transactions.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare due diligence reports.
- Manage corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance matters under applicable laws.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, and external counsel as required.
- Support partners in transaction execution and client relationship management.
- Mentor junior associates and review their work when necessary.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 3–4 years post-qualification experience in corporate law practice or a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, FEMA, and other relevant corporate laws.
- Experience in domestic and cross-border transactions is preferred.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
