Details of the Job/Internship
Livspace is hiring a Senior Associate (Legal) – Contractual Role with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate contracts including franchisee, services, consulting, marketing, licensing, non-disclosure, and other commercial agreements.
- Advise the company on statutes, government regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and update dashboards summarizing ongoing contracts and their status.
- Maintain contracts and proposals in organizational databases.
- Monitor critical contract obligations for modification, close-out, extension, or renewal.
- Collaborate with external legal counsels and advisors when needed.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and execution.
- Conduct legal workshops and presentations to guide business functions on compliance.
- Negotiate commercial terms with customers and vendors.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM degree from a recognized university in India.
- 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent command of English.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
