Details of the Job/Internship
MAHESHWARI & CO. is hiring a Senior Associate with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in South New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle Civil, Criminal, and Commercial cases independently from inception to conclusion.
- Draft complex legal suits, writs, pleadings, and applications for various courts.
- Lead oral arguments and represent clients effectively in District and High Courts.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to support litigation strategies and case theories.
- Interact directly with clients to provide legal counsel and case updates.
- Manage case files and ensure all court filings and deadlines are met.
- Operate with minimal supervision to drive favorable results in contested matters.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience as an Advocate.
- Extensive knowledge of Civil, Criminal, and Commercial law.
- Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and arguing cases in court.
- Significant experience practicing in both District and High Courts.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment.
