Details of the Job/Internship

Meesho is hiring a Senior Associate - Legal with experience of unspecified years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including vendor, distribution, licensing, and SaaS agreements.
• Run the contracting process end-to-end and review vendor templates to close drafts effectively.
• Conduct legal research on corporate and regulatory issues to provide practical advice to business teams.
• Ensure organizational compliance with the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
• Support due diligence and documentation for corporate transactions, including investments and restructurings.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and tech teams to align legal processes with business objectives.
• Track regulatory updates and summarize their implications for internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the drafting and implementation of internal policies, playbooks, and procedures.

Eligibility

• Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law.
• Hands-on experience in commercial contracting and legal compliance.
• Excellent drafting and legal research skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a business-friendly manner.
• High level of ownership and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking skills.
