SR Legal is a boutique law firm specialising in litigation and dispute resolution. The firm advises and represents clients in commercial disputes, ADRs, corporate litigation, insolvency, white-collar crimes, and allied legal services.
Details of the Job/Internship
SR Legal is hiring a Senior Associate with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience to join its growing litigation and disputes practice in New Delhi. The role involves handling and managing matters before trial courts, High Courts, NCLT, and other tribunals. The Senior Associate will independently draft pleadings, petitions, applications, and legal research notes, support senior counsel in strategy formulation and case preparation, appear before courts and tribunals, coordinate with clients, maintain case records, and mentor junior team members as required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handling and managing matters before trial courts, High Courts, NCLT, and other tribunals.
- Drafting pleadings, petitions, applications, and legal research notes independently.
- Assisting senior counsel in strategy formulation and case preparation.
- Appearing before courts and tribunals for advocacy and procedural hearings.
- Coordinating with clients and maintaining case records to ensure smooth progression of matters.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
Eligibility
- 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in active litigation.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience in commercial disputes, corporate litigation, insolvency, and white-collar matters is preferred.
- Ability to independently handle filings, client communication, and court appearances.
