Details of the Job/Internship
The Souled Store is seeking for a motivated and experienced Legal Executive to join our legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Management - Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and closing commercial contracts like NDAs, MOUs, Service agreements, Licensing Agreements, Supply & Distribution Agreements, etc.
- Developing and overseeing day-to-day legal functions & systems to ensure the company complies with all applicable legal and statutory requirements.
- Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and taking appropriate actions to ensure the company is up to speed with the new policies/rules.
- Dealing with Labour Laws, Property Laws, Civil & Criminal Laws, etc.
- Managing the IPR Portfolio of the company & maintaining updated records of trademarks, copyrights, etc.
- Maintaining legal documentation & records of all the commercial & non-commercial contracts of the company.
- Providing support for litigation matters of the company.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, clients, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. Master's degree or specialization in a specific legal area is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in legal document drafting and review.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools, databases, and software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property is mandatory.
- Knowledge of drafting.
- Vetting of Agreements.
