Details of the Job/Internship
TresVista is hiring for the position of Senior Associate - Legal with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., third-party agreements, operational/service agreements).
- Advise internal stakeholders and negotiate directly with external parties.
- Provide timely legal support for contract-related queries.
- Establish and lead a Contract Management Team to ensure compliance with post-contractual obligations.
2. Legal Strategy & Advisory
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement and refine the company’s legal strategy.
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management, the board, and executives.
- Oversee and review corporate policies to ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., Code of Ethics, HR policies, POSH).
- Manage IP protection and real estate legal matters.
- Support employment law compliance and HR-related legal issues.
- Drive process improvements, introducing checks, controls, and quality enhancements in legal operations.
3. Entity Management, Formation & Structure
- Advise on structuring and forming new entities, including jurisdiction and entity type selection.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements, maintain corporate records, oversee board meetings, and file statutory reports.
4. Risk Identification & Management
- Identify legal risks in partnerships, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and IP protection.
- Lead legal aspects of strategic deals, resolve disputes, and handle pre-litigation matters.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Define KPIs and track departmental performance to improve efficiency.
- Develop hiring and training strategies for the Legal team.
- Mentor, guide, and upskill Analysts and Associates to build team capability.
Eligibility
- Experience: 5+ years in an in-house corporate legal team.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Law.
