Details of the Job/Internship

VaRam Legal is hiring for the position of Senior Associate to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and represent clients in litigation and real estate matters, including appearances in court and tribunals.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, agreements, petitions, and other legal documents.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients across various matters.
• Negotiate and draft settlement agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and execute case strategies.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including client relationship management and expanding the firm’s client base.
• Stay updated with relevant laws, case precedents, and regulatory developments.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university; LL.M. is a plus.
• Active license to practice law in India.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in litigation and/or real estate law.
• Strong legal drafting and research skills.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle cases independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary/Stipend
