Vialto Partners is hiring a Senior Associate with experience of 1–4 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze residential status under the Income Tax Act, FEMA, and tax treaties.
- Advise on tax and social security implications for employees and employers, including secondment arrangements and reporting obligations.
- Interpret and apply DTAA provisions to minimize tax liabilities.
- Handle complex tax returns, including foreign asset reporting.
- Advise on taxability of equity plans such as stock options and RSUs.
- Assist in scrutiny, rectification, and appeals up to the CIT level.
- Review global mobility arrangement requests for policy compliance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to assess risks and compliance requirements.
- Communicate with assignees regarding global mobility policies.
- Respond promptly to client and team queries through emails and video calls.
- Collaborate with global teams and participate in global mobility projects related to social security and employee incentives.
Eligibility
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- 1–4 years of experience in direct tax or expatriate tax services.
- Experience in handling complex global mobility activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
