Details of the Job/Internship
VNA Partners is hiring a Senior Associate with experience of 4–7 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and negotiate film production, content, and format licenses.
- Structure comprehensive frameworks for licensing, distribution, and monetization.
- Advise clients on music rights, talent arrangements, and exploitation strategies.
- Manage cross-border deals and oversee international content flows.
- Engage directly with founders, major studios, digital platforms, and individual creators.
- Own the entire transaction lifecycle from inception to closing.
- Provide clear commercial thinking to align legal structures with business goals.
Eligibility
- 4–7 years of focused experience in Media, Entertainment, or IP law.
- Strong drafting and negotiation capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle legal mandates.
- High attention to detail with the capacity to understand the larger deal context.
- Ability to manage and grow client relationships effectively.
