Details of the Job/Internship
White & Brief – Advocates and Solicitors is hiring a Senior Associate with 4–6 years of experience in Indirect Tax and Customs advisory and litigation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis on Indirect Tax and GST matters with technical accuracy.
- Interpret case laws, analyse regulatory developments, and advise clients on implications.
- Draft opinions, submissions, and litigation documents independently.
- Mentor junior team members and review their work.
- Prepare updates on sectoral trends, amendments, and judicial precedents for internal and client circulation.
- Conduct in-depth research to support advisory, compliance, and litigation tasks.
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, client pitches, and knowledge papers.
Eligibility
- Lawyer or Chartered Accountant with 4–6 years of experience in Indirect Tax & Customs advisory and litigation.
- Strong expertise in GST, Foreign Trade Policy, Customs Law, and Tax Restructuring.
- Ability to handle appeals, writ petitions, SCN replies, SLPs, and brief senior counsels independently.
- Capability to manage multiple matters while ensuring technical quality and timely delivery.
