Details of the Job/Internship
Zeta is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and manage legal documents and external legal advisors.
- Provide legal advice on matters impacting business operations across global jurisdictions.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders such as Finance, HR, and Information Security, and with external stakeholders including clients, vendors, and investors.
- Improve and evolve legal drafts and templates to ensure efficiency and simplify agreements for non-legal stakeholders.
Eligibility
- BA.LLB (Hons) degree from a reputed national law university/college (mandatory).
- LLM in technology law from a reputed international university (optional).
- 2–5 years’ PQE in a top-tier law firm (preferably in technology law) and/or as in-house counsel in a technology company (SaaS preferred).
- Strong understanding of SaaS MSAs, Professional Services Agreements, Software Development Agreements, data protection, and IP laws.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to explain risks to non-lawyers.
