Details of the Job/Internship

Icertis is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Attorney.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and advise on all legal aspects concerning our growing business in Asia.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the company’s sales, product, engineering, technical operations, human resources, marketing, and finance groups to identify legal concerns and balance business, financial, and risk management objectives.
• Draft and negotiate all types of commercial contracts, including SaaS subscription agreements, professional services agreements, and vendor and partner agreements.
• Provide guidance, oversight, project management, implementation, and training in key areas, including compliance and IP protection.
• Identify priority regulatory compliance projects and champion efforts to adhere to applicable requirements.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvement and problem-solving work product of the legal group.

Eligibility

Experience And Qualifications

• Experienced India-qualified lawyer with 10+ years of legal experience at a firm and in-house at a software company.
• Experience working with commercial licensing arrangements, data transfer, and privacy issues, as well as local HR and general compliance concerns.
• Fluency in both English and Hindi.
