Details of the Job/Internship

WNS is hiring a Legal & Compliance Associate to drive compliance frameworks, strengthen internal controls, manage risk assessments, and support investigations and ethical conduct initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drive organizational compliance frameworks in line with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage training and communication on mandatory compliance modules and policies.
• Provide guidance on compliance matters and collaborate with departments to enhance program visibility.
• Develop and improve internal controls, processes, and policies; support process automation where applicable.
• Assist in anti-corruption and ethical conduct initiatives, including Client RFP management.
• Conduct third-party risk assessments for vendors and clients regarding anti-corruption, fair dealing, and trade sanctions.
• Oversee the gift and entertainment register to ensure legal preapproval for expenses.
• Support investigations, liaising with reporters/whistleblowers, analyzing evidence, and preparing reports.
• Manage the Speak Up channel and complaint log database; oversee investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Promote a culture of compliance through training and engagement initiatives.
• Assist in quarterly reporting to Senior Management and the Board.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM degree.
• 2–8 years of experience in legal and compliance roles.
• Experience with employee engagement and managing whistleblowing platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of ethical conduct, FCPA, UK Bribery Act, and relevant laws/regulations.
• Excellent communication, drafting, analytical, and presentation skills.
• High ethical integrity and adaptability.

Salary/Stipend
