Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited is hiring for the position of Senior/Chief Manager - Legal (Non-Litigation) with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract Management:
• Draft, review, negotiate, and vet a wide range of legal agreements including NDAs, IT contracts, addendums, insurance intermediary agreements, and service agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review and vet all insurance intermediary contracts, ensuring compliance with IRDAI outsourcing guidelines and other relevant regulatory norms.
• Manage digital contract lifecycle via a Contract Management System (CMS), including maintaining a repository, generating reports, and tracking updates.
• Real Estate & Property Matters:
• Review and validate property titles for branch locations and new acquisitions.
• Draft and finalize Leave & License / Lease Agreements in coordination with the Admin team.
• Corporate & Commercial Legal Support:
• Provide legal support and documentation for business transactions and internal compliance checklists.
• Ensure smooth handling of procedural aspects related to stamp duties, notarizations, and registrations.
• Manage Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) related to products and services.
• Regulatory & Advisory:
• Conduct regular legal research and present findings to internal stakeholders.
• Provide proactive legal advisory and support to cross-functional business teams.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance frameworks, track updates, and enhance legal awareness across the organization.
• Assist in preparing legal dashboards, updates, and thought leadership content.
• Stakeholder & External Counsel Management:
• Collaborate with external law firms and consultants on corporate legal matters.
• Serve as a point of contact for legal advisory support within the organization.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s in Law (LLM) preferred
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in contract management and general corporate law
• Prior experience in the insurance or financial services sector is a plus
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of general and corporate laws, data privacy regulations, intellectual property rights (IPR), and compliance frameworks
• Experience using digital Contract Management Tools is preferred
