Details of the Job/Internship
Elevate is hiring a Senior Commercial Attorney with experience of 5–7 years to join their Contracts team and support global clients across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, redline, and negotiate various contracts and transactional documents.
- Conduct legal research and draft memorandums.
- Review contracts against established standards and propose acceptable alternatives using templates and tools.
- Compare contracts and summarize differences and similarities.
- Facilitate escalation, approvals, and signatures.
- Update or draft playbooks and templates.
- Support legal research assignments and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
Eligibility
- LL.B. (LL.M. is a plus).
- 5–7 years of total experience with at least 4 years in commercial transactional support.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including services and supply agreements, software license and SAAS agreements, procurement, and inbound agreements.
- Experience in legal research and memorandum drafting.
- Strong client support and customer service background.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, business judgment, and financial acumen.
- Proficient in relevant legal technology.
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations.
