Details of the Job/Internship

Strada is hiring a Senior Commercial Attorney with over 10 years of experience to join their office in Haryana.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements, outsourcing arrangements, and strategic partnerships.
• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial matters in alignment with global compliance policies and Strada’s Code of Conduct.
• Support procurement and sales teams in deal structuring and contract execution.
• Collaborate with global legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment across jurisdictions.
• Advise on data privacy and protection matters, including GDPR and cross-border data transfers.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting commercial operations in India and internationally.
• Promote ethical decision-making and risk mitigation in all legal engagements.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognised Indian university; LLM or international legal education preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law, preferably in a multinational organisation or law firm.
• Experience in buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Strong background in IT, outsourcing, professional services, or payroll-related commercial work.
• Strong understanding of global data privacy laws including GDPR.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-border, cross-cultural teams.
