Details of the Job/Internship
FNZ is hiring a Senior Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 10 years PQE to join its Group Commercial Legal team in Gurugram. The role involves handling a wide range of legal matters across multiple business areas, with a strong focus on reviewing, analysing, negotiating, and drafting client and supplier contracts globally. The position requires close collaboration with multiple internal teams to deliver effective legal and commercial outcomes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft client and supplier contracts.
- Provide general legal support to the business.
- Manage and monitor legal and contractual matters for the FNZ group.
- Manage relationships with external legal advisors.
- Conduct contract analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and report on legal developments affecting the business.
- Manage contract administration, including maintaining the contracts register.
- Manage disputes and support strategic projects.
- Produce management information for internal reporting and tracking.
- Review company activities related to UK legal matters and mitigate litigation risks.
- Contribute to the development and management of the annual UK legal budget.
- Focus on legal risk management.
- Contribute to the development of legal policies and procedures.
Eligibility
- Commercial solicitor with a minimum of 10 years PQE.
- Strong experience in contract analysis, negotiation, and drafting.
- Fintech or financial services sector experience is desirable.
- Some people management experience is desirable.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and industry developments.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent business judgment and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Awareness of legal risk management practices is desirable.
- Understanding of the platform market is desirable.
