Moody's Corporation is hiring a Senior Compliance Associate with experience of 5 years to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of Compliance and regulatory reporting for internal (e.g. Board, endorsement committee) and external use (periodic and ad-hoc reporting to regulators).
- Develop and maintain up to date processes and procedures for accurate, timely and complete reporting, continuously seek out opportunities to streamline and standardize processes and enhance operational controls and efficiencies.
- Support information gathering, review and generation of responses for regulatory supervision, support regulatory implementation and remediations in relation to periodic reporting.
- Support the successful transition of regulatory reporting to its new operating model where applicable, including implementation of controls and change management activities such as drafting business rules for technology implementation, creation of checklists, communications, training, procedures, etc.
- Monitor the Compliance generic mailbox and provide day-to-day Compliance guidance and advice to EMEA staff.
- Work closely with the global Compliance team on the implementation and administration of the company's Compliance programme in the region, such as review of translated policies, procedures and training in French.
Eligibility
- 5 years+ relevant post-qualification experience gained in Compliance or Audit in a regulated environment, preferably in regulated financial industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, French.
- Critical thinking, evidence of thoughtful and insightful approach to matters in order to be able to connect wide range of information, analysis and escalate emerging issues and/or risks expeditiously.
- Proactive, highly organized and efficient, diligent with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and team player with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
