Registerkaro is hiring a Senior Compliance Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join their team full-time.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for high-value clients, offering expert guidance on statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Manage and supervise the preparation and timely filing of statutory forms and returns with ROC, Income Tax Department, and GST authorities.
- Interpret and apply Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, FEMA Regulations, RBI Guidelines, and TDS provisions.
- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee income tax return filing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Ensure TDS compliance including deductions, timely payments, quarterly filings, and reconciliation.
- Ensure GST compliance including return filing (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, etc.), reconciliation, and addressing client queries.
- Train and mentor junior compliance associates.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve legal or procedural challenges.
- Maintain updated documentation, trackers, and audit trails.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.A
- CA Inter, CMA, or MBA in Finance is a plus.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, Income Tax, TDS and GST regulations, and Indian financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP platforms.
- Strong command of MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience in audits, assessments, or regulatory inspections is an advantage.
