Details of the Job/Internship
Symbiotics is hiring a Senior Compliance & Legal Business Partner with 10+ years of experience to join their team in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead legal and compliance projects across multiple geographies and business lines.
- Coordinate regional compliance efforts and reporting cycles.
- Review marketing materials and disclaimers for regulatory compliance.
- Respond to KYC and RFP requirements.
- Draft and update group-wide policies and monitor conflict of interest declarations.
- Ensure compliance with Swiss, EU, and international regulations, including FINMA, FATCA, and AML.
- Maintain digital signature systems and assist in basic legal drafting.
- Support internal audits, AML reports, SFDR reporting, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
Eligibility
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance or legal roles in financial services.
- Advanced degree in law or related field.
- Experience with medium-sized international organizations.
- Strong understanding of Swiss, EU, and cross-border regulations.
- Familiarity with KYC, FATCA, AML, SFDR frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; French is a plus.
