Details of the Job/Internship

Corenza is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Compliance Manager with experience of 8+ years to join their office in Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations applicable to AIFs, including amendments, circulars, and guidelines.
• Manage periodic reporting, filings, and disclosures to SEBI, investors, and other regulators.
• Ensure compliance with investor and investee agreements of AIFs.
• Oversee compliance with FEMA, Companies Act, PMLA, Income Tax, and other applicable laws.
• Monitor adherence to fund documentation in coordination with legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with investment restrictions, leverage limits, and reporting standards.
• Advise on regulatory aspects during fund structuring, product design, and documentation.
• Monitor KYC/AML compliance for investors in line with PMLA guidelines.
• Oversee investor communications and marketing materials.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective measures.
• Design and monitor compliance manuals, policies, checklists, and SOPs.
• Conduct compliance testing and audits and maintain compliance records and systems.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, legal counsel, and custodians.
• Collaborate with investment, operations, finance, and risk teams and provide regulatory training and updates.

Eligibility

• CA, CS, LLB, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years of total experience with at least 3+ years in AIF compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations, Companies Act, FEMA, and PMLA in relation to funds.
• Experience in managing compliance audits, regulatory inspections, and filings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance business requirements with regulatory obligations.
• High integrity and ethical standards.
