Details of the Job/Internship
Niveshaay is hiring a Senior Compliance Officer – AIF with experience of 2–3+ years to join their office in Surat.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead compliance with SEBI (AIF) Regulations, circulars, and updates.
- Act as liaison with SEBI, trustees, custodians, and regulators.
- Ensure adherence to Placement Memorandum conditions and fund limits.
- Oversee regulatory filings, disclosures, and periodic reporting.
- Review fund documents, agreements, and investor communications.
- Develop and strengthen compliance policies, SOPs, and manuals.
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and manage audits and inspections.
- Maintain proper records and audit trails.
- Provide compliance guidance to internal teams.
Eligibility
- 2–3+ years of experience in AIF, mutual fund, or investment compliance.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI (AIF) Regulations.
- Understanding of fund structures, valuation, drawdowns, and distributions.
- Risk-focused and governance-driven approach.
- Strong drafting and communication skills.
- Qualification: CS, LL.B., or LL.M.
- NISM Series-III-C Certification is an added advantage.
- Experience in handling SEBI inspections preferred.
