Details of the Job/Internship
XLNC Exotic is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Compliance Officer with 3 to 6 years to join them at their Jalandhar office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of company documents, including property agreements, legal contracts, and transaction records, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain an organized and secure document management system for easy retrieval and reference.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and reflects current regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and management of insurance-related documents, ensuring all properties and operations have appropriate coverage.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to obtain, renew, and manage insurance policies.
- Ensure timely submission of insurance claims and maintain records of all insurance transactions.
- Stay updated on local, state, and national regulations affecting real estate and insurance documentation.
- Implement changes to company policies and procedures in response to regulatory updates.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to relevant authorities as required.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure cohesive compliance practices across departments.
- Serve as the point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and audits.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is a plus.
- Experience: 3–6 years of experience in compliance, document auditing, or insurance documentation, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Strong understanding of real estate laws and insurance regulations.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
