WSP in India is hiring a qualified Legal Counsel to join its global legal team, supporting the review, negotiation, and management of construction contracts across Australia.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate construction, consultancy, and subcontract agreements.
- Advise on contractual risks, obligations, and regulatory compliance.
- Support project teams during contract execution and dispute resolution.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to finalize agreements.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the construction sector.
- Support senior management in achieving business objectives while minimizing legal exposure.
Eligibility
- Qualified legal practitioner with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in construction law and commercial contracting, preferably within infrastructure or engineering sectors.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to balance legal risk with commercial strategy.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a global team.
