Details of the Job/Internship
Clarivate is hiring for the position of Senior Contract Analyst with 3-6 years of experience to join their office in Noida.
- Work Hours: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (Permanent Role).
- Work Mode: Hybrid.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, statements of work, software licenses, data licenses, and master agreements.
- Review and assess customer and third-party terms, including support for the RFP process.
- Maintain contract records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, collaborating with stakeholders such as Compliance, Privacy, Sales, Product, and IT.
- Develop and propose creative solutions and alternative terms for key negotiation points in alignment with corporate and legal guidelines.
- Review customer documents, purchase orders, solicitations, and proposals, identifying and mitigating contractual risks.
- Secure approvals for non-standard contract terms in accordance with corporate policies.
- Provide guidance to internal teams to ensure consistency in policy and procedural compliance.
- Contribute to the enhancement of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), CRM systems, and contract databases.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, and other internal teams to drive process improvements and enhance customer experience.
Eligibility
- University degree or equivalent with 3–6 years of experience in negotiating legal terms and conditions, preferably for data or software solutions.
- Training or certification in law, paralegal studies, negotiation, or legal writing (e.g., IAACM certification) is desirable.
- Strong understanding of legal principles, financial and business best practices, and commercial contract management.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and familiarity with order processing systems, CRM/CLM tools (such as Salesforce or Apttus).
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
