Details of the Job/Internship
Safeway Concessions is hiring a Senior Contracts Manager in Mumbai. Ideal candidates should have experience in Infra/Construction Companies, with a Civil Engineering degree and a Law degree as an added advantage.
Role and Responsibilities
- Study of Contract Agreement and contractual communications; and identify areas of disputes.
- Resolution of Disputes with Suppliers / Contractors; as per the provisions of the Contract, Agreement.
- Prepare and Issue of LOI, Work order and Agreements, both Indian and FIDIC contracts.
- Review and finalization of General Conditions of Contracts, Special Conditions of Contracts, BOQ, Technical Specifications with Consultant and concerned.
- To attend in person all Arbitration Cases and hearings.
- Preparation of claims and identify variations from the Contract Agreements & realization in favour of the Company.
- Vetting of contractual communications / generating the same. Experience in operations with good understanding of Roads / Highway Projects.
- Provide leadership to ensure continued growth of Company's clients base market share in the vertical.
- Evaluate the pre-qualified, subcontractors / vendors and recommends for approval on the basis of policies and guidelines laid down by the Company
- Negotiate revisions changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants engineering and construction firms’ suppliers and subcontractors.
- Resolve all matters related to the contractual terms with owner or project / SPV.
- Coordinate with various departments of Head Office.
- Submit MIS reports to Top Management.
- Preparation of Contractual letters / correspondence.
Eligibility
Education -
- UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil, LLB in Law
