Details of the Job/Internship
Zscaler is hiring a Senior Corporate Counsel with 5+ years of experience to join their India legal team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support India and APJ employment legal matters and assist in global employment initiatives.
- Advise People & Culture and business leaders on labor and employment compliance across India, Australia, Japan and Singapore.
- Support Employee Relations on complaints, investigations and documentation.
- Identify compliance gaps, recommend corrective actions, and drive policy updates.
- Draft and review employment policies, contracts and legal documentation.
- Manage disputes, litigation, and regulatory proceedings with external counsel.
Eligibility
- Law degree and licence to practice in India or a common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification employment law experience.
- At least 2 years of in-house experience.
- Experience with multinational employers preferred.
- Strong organisational skills, judgment, and ability to work with senior management.
