Details of the Job/Internship
Tech Mahindra is looking for an experienced in-house legal professional (LLB, 10+ years PQE) with expertise in handling technology contracts and negotiations at a regional (APAC) level. The role requires end-to-end contract management, direct negotiations with clients and business heads, and ensuring compliance across IT/ITES operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet IT/ITES/Technology contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
- Lead review and negotiation of Master Service Agreements, EPC, Turnkey contracts, Professional Services Agreements, NDAs, Procurement Agreements.
- Manage government tenders, bid proposals, RFI, RFP, EOIs, and related contract processes.
- Handle contracts with OEMs, service providers, subcontractors covering software licenses, hardware, cloud, SaaS, AI, and manpower.
- Liaise with clients, business heads, and internal stakeholders on contractual correspondence, amendments, extensions, and compliance to obligations.
- Ensure company interests are safeguarded in all contractual matters.
- Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks, liabilities, and deviations in contracts.
Eligibility
- LLB with minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Strong in-house experience in IT/ITES sector is mandatory.
- Proven experience in direct negotiation with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience managing APAC region contracts.
- Expertise in technology contracts and government tender processes.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and risk assessment skills.
