Details of the Job/Internship

Wipro is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 0–1 year to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting drafting, reviewing, and negotiating strategic partner engagements and advising business teams on matters related to the partner ecosystem.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic partner engagement documents.
• Advise business teams on legal aspects of the partner ecosystem.
• Communicate regularly with business stakeholders and opposing counsel.
• Support negotiation processes while protecting organisational interests.
• Work within the corporate legal department on partnership-related matters.
• Draft and review agreements including software licence agreements, IT services contracts, IT infrastructure contracts, IP licences, marketing agreements, ISDA contracts, construction contracts, property documents, treasury contracts, structured finance documents, hardware purchase and leasing agreements, staffing contracts, IT development agreements, collaboration agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and bank guarantees.

Eligibility

• 0–1 year of relevant legal experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good academic credentials.
• Understanding of software licence compliance, including open-source software and SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS-related copyright issues (preferred).
• Knowledge of legal and compliance issues, including data protection in cross-border transactions.
