Details of the Job/Internship
Airbnb is hiring a Senior Counsel, APAC Employment & Ethics with 12+ years of experience to join their Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on regional employment, anti-harassment, and ethics issues.
- Respond to internal queries related to employment laws and company policies.
- Act as Presiding Officer or member of the Internal Complaints Committee in India.
- Manage employment disputes, investigations, and compliance issues.
- Develop and update employment and compliance policies.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve employment compliance.
- Collaborate with regional and global legal teams.
- Support Airbnb’s diversity, inclusion, and anti-discrimination goals.
- Stay informed of changes in employment legislation.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law or equivalent; qualified to practice in a major jurisdiction.
- Minimum 12 years post-qualification legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, ethics, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
