Details of the Job/Internship
Volvo Group is hiring an Experienced Data Privacy Professional with experience of 3–5 years to join their office in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drive investigations and initiatives to facilitate and protect Volvo Group data privacy and sharing.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with internal policies and laws, including GDPR.
- Collaborate with R&D to implement privacy-by-design guidelines for new engineering projects.
- Evaluate and upgrade existing privacy-by-design principles in current engineering projects.
- Review and complete risk assessments for projects requiring privacy-by-design approval.
- Strengthen the data privacy framework by executing activities in the GTT Data Privacy roadmap.
- Stay informed regarding developments in global privacy legislation and regulatory expectations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Data Governance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or compliance roles.
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR and other relevant privacy frameworks.
- Preferred: 2–3 years of specific knowledge in the field of privacy by design.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills in English.
- Proven record of driving change initiatives and managing stakeholders.
