Details of the Job/Internship
IdeateLab is seeking a Senior Executive – Legal and Compliance for a dual-responsibility role that combines secretarial excellence with legal advisory.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee statutory compliance for GST, FEMA, Labour laws, and the Shops & Establishments Act.
- Execute all ROC filings, maintain statutory registers, and manage secretarial records under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Draft, review, and vet commercial agreements including vendor contracts, NDAs, and MoUs.
- Manage Intellectual Property (IP) matters, including trademark and copyright filings and renewals.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and IP attorneys for litigation and specialized advisory.
- Assist in client recovery matters and the preparation of legal notices and responses.
- Handle partnership firm compliances, including deed amendments and registration procedures.
- Monitor compliance calendars to ensure timely adherence to all regulatory deadlines.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/FCS) is mandatory.
- LL.B degree is highly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
- 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate secretarial or legal roles.
- Strong working knowledge of MCA21 portal and ROC procedures.
- Proficiency in drafting and vetting diverse commercial and corporate documents.
- Familiarity with FEMA, GST, and Labour law regulations.
- Well-organized and professional demeanor with the ability to work independently.
- Readiness to visit government offices, courts, or banks as per operational requirements.
